So, I recently released a mod that adds an NPC which brings up the showracemenu. While this bypasses the issue with using the console, the effects on stats by changing your race, and all of that, are still there.

Basically, I want to come up with a way to bypass that. Ways that have been mentioned are:

Disabling race selection in the menu temporarily (Not sure if possible)

Saving PC's stats, letting them change their race, and then returning those stats through a script (Has possible complications?)

Unequiping player's equipment, letting them change whatever, and then reequiping it all. (Probably possible? Not too familiar with scripting. This is a workaround for the menu's possible affect on enchantments.)

Can you guys think of anything, or do you know anything about the above suggestions?
