You must be blind then, didn't you encounter problems with AI? or graphics? or smart system movements? if you didn't are you sure you played brink?
Thanks for the comment. I'm sorry you seem to have a negative experience. But it seems maybe you misunderstood the purpose of my post. It's the Hardware / Software Issues PC forum and I saw many people who had crashes, glitches, or poor FPS -- truly disappointing for them. I wanted to provide my experience to give them, and any others reading, some hope that it can and does work on other systems. True, I only got 3 hours of play in last night and stuck to offline for now (due to real life considerations) but it was a fun 3 hours. But then, this wasn't a post about gameplay - it was to confirm my rig could handle the game and it
didn't have issues. I'll take the time to focus on what you ask:
AI - I've seen no AI issues that appear due to my hardware or software. They acted and reacted fine, no sitting idle the way AI did in games built 15 years ago like Daggerfall or even BattleField2 back in 2006. Maybe the AI wasn't so smart, but that's the game AI design, not my hardware / software.
Graphics - no issues, nothing. (I'm not saying they can't be better, or that I expected more, just that I didn't get any failures, glitches, or crashes like others reported.)
SMART system - worked fine with the rig I have, though it was implemented a bit awkwardly and took some getting used to. (
Is SMART what I expected when the game was announced and I watched all the videos and learned all about Parkour? No, but that's gameplay / game design, not a hardware or software issue)
I had no issues with game installation either - was smooth and fast. I didn't have the "54% ..." issue that others reported.
