Worries about level design

I loved the unique level design of PREY. Walking on the walls and ceilings. I will never forget walking on the baseball sized planet and seeing the titanic baddie spot me there. Such designs are what made the game memorable. However from what I hear they are ditching that. They are taking away the one thing that made it a truely memorable game.

well there arent going to be levels exactly

its a mostly open world

the problem with creating too distinct of environments in open worlds tends to lead to loitering in those distinct places

I am sure they will have some good stuff like that, but you have too remember it doesnt take place on the sphere

I'm hoping it is more than just a "owe look open world scifi city" sure they could get away with it but I hope they put more effort into making it more than just Scifi city X with memerable places like Drunken was talking about. Something that makes us say, yes this is definitely Prey and not Generic open world SciFi game X.
