I kinda knew it would work, but I just wanted to make sure. I don't want to buy the game when my pc wouldn't be able to handle it.

Gods yes, my PC which is considerably worse than yours in terms of everything mentioned runs it on high graphic settings. You might even be able to use the high resolution texture pack which my PC can't handle.

Yeah might run better with on just the 8GB dual channel instead of that extra 2GB in there. More isn't always better.
