I'd like to sheath my one-handed sword on my back, instead of the left side of my hip. Would it be possible for me to create a mod that does this? Changing the sheathing animation wouldn't be necessary, just where the weapon ends up.

yeah most likely if you can get access to the model and change the position. Guess it depends on if the sheathed version is a seperate mesh. Might not be, who knows

TS has http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6276 that does this already. I haven't tried it just yet (I'm using other body mesh mods) but the work looks pretty good. Also, I assume a mod will move this thread.
