If it takes it's place enough far in history and is more like historical document than Hollywood crap.

A television series would be better and only if it's as heavily funded and worked on as Game of Thrones.

When the series is ready to die and capitulate maybe then *cough*Final Fantasy*cough*. Hopefully we still have several more fantastic single player RPG's to go yet though.

Only if Uwe Boll directed it. He is a god among insects.

If it was done right, sure. Keep it out of anything the games have already touched or may touch on in the future though.

No. Video game movies never work, especially for ones in high fantasy settings.

No, a skyrim movie would be not too good. Although a tv series based off the whole of tamriel would be much more intresting.

I don't like the idea because it's kind of a slap in the face to the whole point of the games, which is to play who you want to play. Instead we would be watching a particular character archetype.

No. Contemporary movies are bad as it is (we never go to the theater any more). But, even when they were good enough to go, movies made after video games have always svcked the big one (thinking 'Mortal Kombat' for example).

I love the idea of one, however the end product would always disappoint. You could create a movie based on a specific in-game book or something like that, which I think may work well and would be pretty cool. If it was highly funded and had a strong cast in it.
