Would you like to see a Jumping Height Perk added to Vampire

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:43 pm

I'd like a few things:

1. triple the falling distance needed to die
2. Allow jumping while sprinting
3. Allow the ability to hold down the jump button, to drain stamina for a larger jump

thanks to rediculous jumping in morrowind and oblivion, i always assumed, or at least rp'ed that gravity was different on nirn, it bothers me that skyrim changes that.
anyhow, ide love to see a return to variable jumping height, be it for everyone or just a select few (werewolves, khajiit, etc....).
like some others, in morrowind, i pretty much always level up alteration, tinur's hoptoad is a must, and by the time im level 30 something, i make a spell that lets me jump from balmora to vivec, in one leap.... i miss that. (jump, loading, loading, loading, loading, and land in vivec.......... (its more fun than it sounds)).

edit: accidentally called it viven

I would be happy if they just add jumping height to a Vampire Tree. But I think best bet would just create a enchantment for it.

Yeah, we get it. You like the idea of jumping higher. You don't have to spam the same damned response 50 times.

Nor do you need to be so damned forceful of your opinion. "They MUST, we WANT, I WANT." Get over it. They either will or they won't. It doesn't ruin the game as is.

With a Poll on the first thread that is now closed showed the community was largely in favor of this coming back in one form or another.

FYI, 179 people voting in the poll does not a community consensus make.

Perk tree would be good for acrobatics but i don't think humans should have access to higher jumping other than through spells or enchantments, that way when you play as a vampire you get an all new feel to the controls, faster movement and higher jumping.
When I became a Vampire for the first time I thought that this would happen, But I was sadly mistaken. This, if implemented would make vampires a lot better.

I think these perk trees would be cool, especially if they didn't have levels to them at all; no skill level and no exp given towards your overall character level.

Simple perks that you could choose to augment your character.
Agreed, It should be a passive perk tree, A tree where you can use very expensive available perk points in order to get something else during leveling........

As a Khajiit player, I really miss jumping like a feline. Having increased movement speed and acrobatics made me feel more in character, yes I do want such a perk/enchantment.

yeah vamps should have there own perk tree also werewolfs should have one to cause what you get just isn't that great even more for vampires so they would be a lot better if you could get perks for being one
like being able to jump high and move faster or better draine life spell

Dawnguard might be buffing up vampires as there is a vampfeed animation in the files, so higher jumping is a possibility.

I vote for jump enhancement for vampires and werewolfs. this would make stalking your prey all the more enjoyable. i can just imagine it... My prey walking in the streets having a good O time and then out of nowhere i come flying down from a building only to begin feasting on the poor peasants flesh as all the other peasants running around screaming, and as soon as the guards arrive I will have had a nice meal and will already be up on the rooftops looking for my next prey.

Well i will always support jumping enhancements as long its due to a spell or enchanted equipment for a human and a natural ability for the vampires and lycanthropes.
this, though I could see a khajiit jumping that high naturally lol

Thats exactly what I want. It is a big shame they removed some of the best elements int the series.........sigh

Vampires? in humanoid form...no. But in there dawnguard form it is a reasonable request, however for werewolves I think Beth. should've included the Hircine-dream upgrade system used in Bloodmoon, but a perktree is still good for me. Of all the perks a lycanthrope can have i think jump height should be on there.
Now all i need are more werecreatures!

Thanks for the reply, Im 100% sure that both Werewolf and Vampirelord have their own Perk tree (I have seen the scans), Im sure that they did not add the jumping height enchantment or perk. That really upsets me. I just hope they add it down the line or in a patch.
