Wouldn't it be nice?

Does anyone else wish that you could queue up online to fight 1v1 in some sort of gladiator arena? I find myself missing the gladiator arena from oblivion quite a bit.
Also I've got three characters that are 40+ now and I'm starting to get bored of them. I feel like offering some sort of Vs. feature to the game would extend its life indefinitely.

also for clarification due to some confusion in this thread. This is not about skyrim being an MMO

I have on interest in playing an MMO

I don't know how that is being interpreted from my original statement above

Go to Runescape then...

I don't want online for Skyrim, the Graphics wouldn't be as perfect as they are now & it would take them a lot longer and more patches would be needed.

I wasnt proposing putting the whole game online. Just saying a simple option to play a 1v1 fight with someone else. Maybe your friends... if you have any

Again, that is STUPID.

Elder Scrolls has never been an online RPG and never will be.

GO PLAY RUNESCAPE.

Colton, while I value your insight and your opinions. I guess I don't really care if the 1v1 feature is multiplayer. I'm more concerned about having no challenges after getting to the higher levels of the game.
Perhaps they could add a gladiator arena (once again not online so chill out) where the opponents scale indefinitely to create some real challenges. I guess I just really enjoyed the arena in oblivion. I yearn for that kind of fight again.

Why people are so immature? The original post doesn't talk about MMO. He only said that he would like to play 1v1 against someone else? What's wrong with that?

Thank you Eddie and Tinz for the support.

I just really think some sort of gladiator arena feature (online or not) would really extend the end-game for skyrim. I've noticed that once I get my characters around level 40 they just get too strong and boring. It would be nice to fight an intelligent opponent for a change.

in regards to the MMO comments... I have no interest in playing an MMO I don't know how that got brought into this subject

I can't ever see an Elder Scrolls game being a MMO, but I wouldn't be suprised if the series later added some multiplayer options. I wouldn't expect this to happen to Skyrim though.

Actually. No.

But I wouldn`t mind fighting in an arena against AI.
