Hello everybody !

I was exploring the area of Whiterun , I was sure I know it all back and forth , you know what ?
I was wrong !

Here may be a few spoilers , but I found:

I was searching for a shelter for the night , I found a cave.
The cave was surrounded by mountains , so it made like a pocked inside the mountain , I could see the sky , it was amazing !
Anyway , the thing was , I found some sort of ancient building there , with a statue and shrine of Talos.
Next to the statue , was a note and above it a sword.
The note was written by the last survivor of the Blades from Cloud Ruler Temple !
The sword was his , I didn't continue further as my character was afraid.

It was totally astonishing.

Is there any chance you could give directions to this place? I'd love to read that note!

You have found one of the finest places of the Skyrim. That's my favorite cave/dungeon at there.

Yes, I think that Bolar's Oathblade MAY be a leveled weapon.

It's directly east of the North Brittleshin Pass. It's also invovled in Ill Met By Moonlight (Hircine's quest), but it gets changed for thirty in game days if I remember correctly.

I found it too few days ago, with my second character. I played 180hrs with my first but I'm sure I missed lots of awesome dungeons.

Thanks! I was so confused when I read the post that said it was in Bloated Man's Grotto. I was just there a couple days ago for Hircine's quest. :biggrin:

I've only ever visited it during the quest, and didn't find that note. That's awesome though, yet another spectacular detail. It still brings a tear to my eye to think of Cloud Ruler Temple in ruins, though ...

Ah yes I do remember this place! The thing is though, when I was doing Hircine's quest I did not come across Bolar's Oathblade, and I explore caves to every little detail. So should I visit BMG before the Daedric quest or afterwards?

Not that I did any quests.

I know what you mean. A contract had me visiting the Bannered Mare. As any good assassin does, they start taking notes of the target's schedule. I sat in a corner chair, and all of a sudden, someone's yelling about getting the move on. A young woman approaches me and asks me what I want.

I nearly fell out of my chair, both in game and in real life. This was... awesome.

I love finding little treasures like this.
