Wow ok so epic surprise

I had just finished a play through with my test Nord char, and I'm now on a run with a Dark Elf/Nord battlemage and even though my Nord had slayed at least 20 dragons I never knew that there were finishers for dragons!
Just killed my first one at Whiterun and the finisher was a total surprise.
Anyone else have this happen?

Might have wanted to put this in the spoiler section, just because with a title like this people might not read it here. But I agree, The finishers are awesome! I want to see a hand 2 hand finisher on a dragon.

I haven't finished the MQ (pretty much how I start all games that are free roaming-types like TES) but once I found out you could do a finisher on a dragon my response was basically the following: "A finisher on a dragon? Never you could do that....okay, moving on."

I just think that dragons are getting annoying, honestly. I might not find one for a few levels, but when I do I at least find them 3 at a time (one by one, of course).

But it's good that you're intrigued by it. Just means that Bethesda is doing their job correctly :]

I figured out the reason why!
My Nord was strictly dual wielding swords and my Dark Elf uses one sword and a spell/shield.
I guess they don't have any dual wielding finishers for dragons :/
I'm thinking of trying a war axe as my weapon this time around.
On that note, does anyone know if there is a dragon finisher with a single war axe?
Also on the same topic with people that enjoy finishers, which would you say is the best?

I killed about 30 dragons before i saw my first finishing move. reason being, i had always just killed dragons with fire spells. Once my destruction got to 100, i decided to start using a sword and shield, and got to see the finishing moves.
