they do something more with destruction magic or add new magic gear...

since dawnguard barely did anything for that aspect of magic

Wellllllllll not from personal experience with me being a PC and PS3 gamer, so I wouldn't have Dawnguard yet. I thought it was just made for the story, some added weapons and armours, and somethings that they made in Gamejam. I think if they wanted to buff up our beloved Destruction it'd just be an update like how they ruined smithing.

I'd prefer for everyone to get Dawnguard ( including myself) before they talk more of other Dlcs.

I am in the middle of Dawnguard, and I was hoping for some actual spells that would make Destruction more useful. Hopefully the next DLC focuses a little more on magic and new spells. Or maybe just an update that makes Destruction more useful. The higher the destruction skill, the higher the damage is no matter what spell you use. That is what I want.

I've never reached past 65 in destruction, I just feel Destruction is boring becuase it almost always the same, and it just really underpowered.

Well Skyrim , or Nords rather, are more of a "gung-ho" type, like physical combat and such, so maybe it just seemed stupid to add magic to it. I haven't played Dawnguard cuz I'm on PC, but... I guess I can't give a valid opinion since I haven't played it and I'm not much for mages :/

I got it to 100. I use it more as a long range weapon while I am charging at the enemy. And once I get close, I use my one handed weapon. But yes, it isn't something you want to use as a main weapon or by itself.

A magic base DLC would be great so far the only useful destruction spells that are useful to me are Thunderbolt and Chain Lightning with perks I usually spam enemies with these to death.

I really like Ice Spear. It slows enemies down and does a fair amount of damage. Mostly best for slowing enemies down, like giants.

If those annoying ice mages can do it, so can I.

I agree those Ice spear can be very helpful when you want to slow things down. Next time when I am at the collage I will buy them and I Love just spam lighting on those mages so they can lose their all their Magicka so they can pull out there small knifes to hit my dragon bone armor and be like pokemon this has no effect lol
