I just lost about an hour worth of gameplay. Exited the game to change a setting recommended in another thread to fix the stuttering/choppiness and started it up again and all of my saved games from the past hour or so are gone.

I crashed out and lost my saves from the last hour or so.

Same thing happened to me, lost about 2 hours.

Game crashed and I saw that steam was updating FNV and after it was done I loaded the game up and my quick save was one that I saved 2 hours ago.

This happened to me too, but I didn't crash.

Also having this problem. I got my pre-order content code in my email, left steam to apply it and from then on, when I reloaded the game, all of my autosaves/quicksaves were reverted to the ones just before I applied the pre-order content code.

Edit: Normal saves work fine.

More edit: I tried deleting the quicksave and autosave files in /users/username/My Documents/FalloutNV/Saves after making a manual save. Upon reloading the game, the autosave and quicksave files simply reappear in the directory (it is an absolute mystery where they are coming from) just like they were before I deleted them.

I'm on Win7 64-bit. Been playing for about 5 hours with no issues before this,

Normal saves work find but my quick saves... All of them are gone i am sad beyond belief i did so much work

There's an issue with their implementation of Steam Cloud syncing (even when disabled on your profile). See this thread for workaround:

I just got on to start playing again. Played for 5 minutes, saved my game and exited and got back in the game to discover my quicksave didn't exist. WHAT the hell is going on here?
