I am writing the script for my mod and have a few Q's for id

I know the mod tools are incoming - and I also know that you have bigger fish to fry at the moment. Once you decides to release the tools, will we also be getting the client source code like with Doom 3 and Quake 3-1? Is client source code even needed at this point with idtech 5 to modify the game play elements? It seems that most of the actual game play related features have been bumped out to a higher level scripting language and would not require client level source access to modify mechanics. I seem to remember Tim W. saying that users should be able to add in new quests and other similar features from Id Studio. I am only asking because I am seeing the RageGDF_x86.dll and that reminds me of id tech 4/3. Is it a hybrid approach similar to UE3? You define global classes/types in compiled Uscript and then use Kismet to tie it all together and create the physical game play? My plan hinges on being able to modify some UI elements, create character dialogue's, and implement some major game play refinements. Is there any kind of WIKI that will be accessible to users? Again, I know you are insanely busy and have much better things to do - but any direction you can give would mean worlds to me.

I am asking because I am in the pre-planning stages and all the information I can get on how I should be preparing to get to work would be greatly appreciated and help me plan. I have no plans to create any new environments but I am planning on dramatically re-working the existing quest's as well as adding other main story line quest's/items/characters/dialogue into the game. The general goal of my efforts will be to de-couple the game play from the script's corridor approach to story telling in order to introduce true choice and consequence - in effect I want to add in more RPG style mechanics to the world too help the player fully engage the environment that id has already created. I want to add a very real sense of consequence to the world by presenting the player with several story altering choices - choices that once made will effect the games outcome and what the player experiences while playing it.

This all got started listening to some NPC chatting and saying that most ARK survivors work with the authority - which made me wonder why I was doing what I was doing.

The resources provided in this game are simply epic. I am fairly certain that I can never create a single new in game assets (aside from UI and Dialogue ) and simply focus my efforts on reworking existing missions, adding new missions, and adding in 5 key decisions moments that have global consequences and will totally change the game - in addition to other influencing factors. Right now my scripts global decision tree has 20 possible primary game outcomes with several different moral shadings on each outcome. Think 'Stanley Parable' but much more ambitious in allowing the user to create their own narrative. Lots of code and script work is ahead of me i know- but It will be worth it. This game has sooooo much untapped potential.
