Wrong Colored Fog

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 10:45 am

Simple lighting question here...hopefully.

When I go to light some of the fog, mist, what have you, in my world it takes on a weird light reddish color. Neither my imagespace or lighting template (ISSovengardeClear for the most part) have that color within them. NOTHING I can do swaps it out including applying a separate external emmittance. Its positively driving me nuts. The lights I'm using are blue or sunlight and even the blue light gives the fog the red color.

Thank you!

the fog could be affected by your location/region/climate weather system and time of day

if you absolutely want to control every aspect of your worldspace, you would need to create all of those and apply them to your worldspace

Hello again! At this point I wish these forums had some sort of karma system....

Yeah I actually HAVE now adjusted all of those in an attempt to troubleshoot it. Not a one has any effect. If its not something easily addressable then nevermind. I just assumed it might be something simple that I'm noobing out on.

If left to its own devices the fog pick up the ambient colors beautifully. Its only when a light is added that it takes on a light orange/red hue. This has me guessing its not the imagespace or lighting template but rather something to do with my lights. Hm.
