After downloading the 1.6 patch I expected mods to be out of date and my game unplayable. Simple solution for my nightly fix would be uninstall the offending mods and start a new game until most of the mods in my current playthrough had been updated to work with the patch. However, I have run into a nasty hitch as a result of using Wrye Bash.

When Wrye Bash is opened up I get a slew of error messages, one of which tells me that Update.Esm is corrupt and therefore, Lorecraft is missing a master. Several other mods including Sea of Ghosts, WATER, Unofficial Skyrim Patch, Ultimate Follower Overhaul, and Dovahkin Relaxes Too, all have a missing master or some other ailment.

My question is, is this purely caused by Wrye Bash being out of date, or by individual mods being out of date. Hopefully, it is not the my third and final guess, that my game is now bonked because Update.esm is missing and I don't see a way in which it will return.

Heres hoping we can figure this out and a cookie to all if I can actually play Skyrim tonight!

What version of Wrye Bash are you using? You should be using 297.1, which is available now on the nexus, pre-296 will throw you this error (As I understand it).

If the error you're getting says something about an INCC record, update Bash. It's been fixed. Otherwise, posting the error and any relevant info in the Wrye Bash thread would be best
