First it would'nt launch the game because of some error code, so I went into the main Steam folder and deleted the file (blob).
Now when launching from steam it crashes my computer. Anyone have a fix for this? I'm running on Windows Vista 64 bit.
Had no problems before when the game came out, but when I downloaded Dead Money seemed to of jacked my game up, so
I uninstalled and now I'm at the current place I am. Won't even start.

Am I understanding that launching STEAM crashes the computer or that Launching FONV crashes the computer?

The usual:
Try to verify the NV game cash (right click on FONV in your game library, choose settings, properties or something like that)
Make sure your drivers are up to date.

Also, after deleting the blob file, did Steam do anything?
Maybe try reinstalling the Steam client?
