WTF ? stupid problems

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 4:04 am

i have two major annoying problems first is the mouse arrow if it goes too far over to the sides or top of the screen it crashed the game back to the desktop and the other problem is these little squares are on the screen from me changing settings and i tried to set it back to default and did nothing.

before you ask or tell me its my video card its pretty up to date and worked fine before i tinkered with the settings and my res is 800x600 by default and settings are on high by default when it checks my video card.

so what i wanna know is WTF is causing this ? >_<

That's what's clearly caused it. What settings did you modify?

I've heard little squares on the screen are caused by the latest video card drivers from AMD. Are you perhaps using an AMD video card with the lastest drivers?
If so, try reverting to an older driver.

Not always right to revert to earlier drivers!

Alternate;

Turn of AA and AF in game launcher options.

Turn on and set to required value AA and AF in the ATI/AMD CCC/ECC (catalyst control centre/engine control centre).

Then play Skyrim sans the pixilation issue (the little squares).

As for mouse extents CTD, I cannot help you unless this too is part of the AA / AF problem with latest ATI/AMD driver. (I have not had the CTD issue as yet).

I have heard tell that ATI/AMD are working on the 12.4 driver package and there is a download already - but I have not tried it! (http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/HD78007Support.aspx - beta?)
