O.O I cannot believe my own two eyes right now to be quite honest. I went into Jorvasskr to grab Aela to take with me and out of NOWHERE Vilkas walks through the back door (leading to archery targets and all that) and just sits down right next to Aela.

Ummm.. your dead dude... how the HELL are you here? And I'd like to note when using the Misc. Quest "Talk to the Companions leaders for work".. that Vilkas DOES NOT have an Arrow on his head.. but Aela does?

Oh, and Vilkas died as my sacrifice to Boethiah.. so HOW is he back? I'm bout to go to his shrine and see if his body is there.. cause now I'm a lil freaked out..

Happened to me too. Well, not because I sacrificed him to Boethia, but he died fighting .... er, something, I forget what. He's a wuss when it comes to svcking up spell damage, so probably some spell-casting Drugar. Guess it was worse than it looked....


I think he's scripted to appear and act in certain events, so just shows up, alive, then hangs around after that. Better than what used to happen with dead friends when you got married...

I went to Boethiah's Shrine and IN FACT his body was NOT there. Farkas' body is still up at the Pillar of Sacrifice but Vilkas' body is completely gone from where it was.. (somehow his body got down into the training pit area.. don't ask me how but that's where he was after all the chaos).

A known bug? Or is it something else?

I wish I thought of taking Vilkas to Boethiah.

Skjor also comes back for some of us, even though he was killed by the Silver Hands.

Yeah Skjor came back for me..I was like "Wth o.O You're supposed to be dead"

Have to just pile on here, but the Companions get a little buggy. I, too, had the Skjor thing (funny actually) - he was running around in the ground in the wild and later sitting on the back porch of Jorrvaskr - so it doesn't surprise me that it can happen to the others. On PC, open the console, click on the NPC (so that their Ref ID is shown) and type disable and hit enter - this'll knock 'em out of the game for good.

I went back to Gallows Rock, and Skjor is still dead for me, and lying in the most undignified position.

I don't disable these guys, I use markfordelete so the game might realize that it is its turn to take out the trash. What's interesting is that this seems to be universally immediate now. Open console, click offensive item, markfordelete, enter, close console, and poof! it's gone.

I had Skjor's dead body appear in Kodlak's room.

When Skjor returned from the dead for me, I just figured he was someone's Thrall and killed him while he slept.

He either came back to life OR you NEVER killed him XD

The funny thing is that only werewolves seem to return to life. Even Sinding, whom we kill, can be seen walking around.

I didn't kill him. He stalked right past me and out on the road as I spoke to Hircine after the quest.

I guess that werewolves are undead after all.
