On your 360 dashboard, what was the default language setting set at? Also, what language setting was it set on when you started to experience problems? Shoot me a PM with these details so I can pass it along to folks at our office.

Brand new Xbox.. bought it with Brink's release ( and hating myself).....2 frozen ...both times when the host was onthe other team and raged quit....

this issue has nothing to do with hosts! it also occures on single play or solo challenges!

I have been playing pretty consistently since the 11th and have had 4 freezes by my count. It's not a HUGE problem that has negatively effected me yet, but it is very annoying, would appreciate a fix.

Its a Huge Problem if it freezes every 5-10 min wich sometimes happens to me and others more or less often.

Yea i understand your opinion... It′s really negative that the game doesen′t work so well at all.. But also understand the people who made it.. You cant fix all bugs at release because we as the players are there to find them.. and there can be bigger bugs und smaller ones... So all we can do is help the team to get this game more playable...

I must have missed that i got payed to be a game tester. Wait.... i didnt got any money!
I payed money for software that was promised to work!
Anyway im also sorry for all the people that worked on the game, this bug may it be small or big hurts all the work that they have put in.
And the main concern should been also to prevent to get gamebreaking bugs in the retail version.Even at the cost of delaying the game.

Yea you′re right we don′t get any money for finding bugs or something.. But i think we have to make the best out of this situation and wen can only hope that they are working hard at fixing the bug and shoot out a good update, that will bring us the fun back.

I play from hard-drive install and in the last hour I had probably 4+ freezes. very annoying.

I played the game (German version) yesterday for the first time for like 2.5 hours and the game freeze-crashed twice. After the second time i shut down my Xbox360.
Today I played for not even one hour and then Brink froze. I'm really disappointed by this!
[Edit] I installed Brink to the HDD. Also, I already cleared the system cache with no effect at all.

I hope they fix the freezes from people leaving a match before the DLC is released. Bit of a pain

Now it's my turn. I got my "german" version on friday and during the weekend I tried to play - on sunday.

After 15 minutes I got my first crash (freeze) nothing seems to work, had to reboot my xbox (power button frontside) - solo campaign (only bots).

Second try I played half an hour (30 minutes) and again freeze - reboot - solo campaign (only bots).

Third try it works I played the first mission (security) serveral times (4-5) nothing happens - playtime 1 hour.

After that I tried to play with other xbox gamers. Co-op campaign (gamers vs. bots). It works for a while mission 2-6 without any major problems (some terrible sound glitches). And again freeze!

Hope my xbox will survive - so many freeze-crashes!

To be serious this issue have to be fixed! A cool game should work! A simple crash is okay but a freeze which crash my xbox-system (dashboard, etc.) is unacceptable!!!

Note: It's patched and nothing changed! I hope they will find a solution.

The German Version got Hard Freezes all over.
And nobody from SD is answering to this.

Fix the broken game first.

A few Bugs are in every Game, but Hard Freezing is Serious mate.

brink is ok but the freezing issue online is a big problem that needs to be fixed

i really would like to know how testing looks at bethesda/splash damage.
i, too, have the DE-version of the game and there is no excuse for releasing such an uncompleted game like brink is right know. it's not only the german version and not "only" freezes.

i'm really getting angry...i havent signed as a tester, i'm a customer. ive payed for a functioning product and for support.
there is no one telling us what is going on. how long do we have to wait? whats the problem in general? not a single word. not even some questions to gather info's about the issue.

Possible Freeze Fix

Alright i will test these 2 options tomorrow and i will reply if it works for me and my buddys.

We need a fix and that's for sure! I will try the workaround.

I play different first person shooters and I like the Brink concept, but right now it's unplayable. A lot of games have minor problems (MOH, COD, BF2, etc.) but I never had a freeze like this one every 20-30 minutes. I never had to change my system language, so I won't do that! I (we) want a fix, a working game!!!

I really love Brink. One of the top 10 Games of my life. But I will sell it tomorrow. Freezes every 10 -20 minutes is killing all the fun.

PS: I have the german version too.
