Listen this post is simply for the people considering purchasing Brink and for the people who has just recently purchase Brink and are under the impression that multiplayer is dead or some bull crap like that because all of these lying negative post... I'd like to call bullcrap on all these post, my xbox live gamer tag is "troywilldestroy" add me and watch for yourself, I am always in match with real people and lots of people on my friends list frequently play brink we were just in a 6 man party the other day, doing 5v5 matches all night long, i do not kid, I am dead freaking serious and I am tired of people lying, the community that play Brink is super tight nit and and they play hard, trust me!

Once again "competitive mode" makes it so only real players can play within the match, the other mode, minus oldskool allow bots and the way the game is set, it will not wait for player to join and through you into a bot match, this is why some xbl player think only bots play

Its actually been in the top ten since release and is no.7 in the u.k. So, people are buying it.

Yeah it's not dead, just broken and dying. I thought I'd switch over to competitive last night since the only big teams it was tossing me into was lagging despite only having 3 other people (doesn't normally happen, but still occurs occasionally). The only competitive match I was put into (tried exiting and joining a few times) was with one other guy and I didn't want to sit around waiting 10-20 minutes for two more people so the round could actually start.

Why spend so much energy towards ignoring the facts instead of putting that energy towards getting Splash Damage and Bethesda to fix what is broken?

Thats a fact i've tried explaining to people both on here and on SD's forums.

Instead of shouting "get out and stay out!" to the people who want to improve the game, why not just try to get the improvements everyone so desires?

Speaking up accomplishes 2 things. 1. It will get SD and Bethesda to fix the broken game they released, and 2. Give SD motivation to maybe finish their next game and test it properly so its not such a bundle of garbage next time.

No developer wants to see their dreams go down the toilet. It may be too late for Brink, but if theres a Brink 2 our suggestions and community desires are what will inspire them to make a good game.
