I have a question does it look good on the xbox cause its coming tomorrow and just would like to know is there a wow factor when you step off the ark.

I have it on 360. You could not have asked a better question. When i stepped out of the cryo area into the light and saw what the game looks like for the first time my jaw dropped and i started drooling. From what i've read it's impressing some people but not others so it may be subjective. Some PC users were having a bad experience until an update was released so they probably saw it bad. PS3 is supossed to look the same as 360.

It is NOT what it looks like in the game videos. I'm guessing the PC looks much better, but this game just looks average on the 360 to me. There are many parts in the game where the textures have problems loading and the lighting effects are very minimal. I'd pick it up for the PC if I were you. The game is still very fun, but the 360 graphics are lacking and the aiming is a little wonky.

You bring up a good point. There is definately texture loading/popping, even with both campaign discs installed. I only notice it when i am walking around taking in the sights and basically watching for it. In the thick of battle i don't notice it. It is definately going to be better on pc. I didn't get it on pc because my pc can't take advantage of my 7.1 and i prefer the simplicity of consoles. For me there was a solid wow effect, but it's not going to be like that for everyone.

i dont agree at all..this game is gorgeous..it must be your setting or maybe your 360 is about to crap out..

It is one of the better looking games I have played, it did suprise me walking out of the Ark. Aside from some texture popping, and when you get real close to things it looks very good.

This. This game is the best looking game I've played on my 360. No doubt about it. I have very limited issues with textures.

To answer your question: The back drop looks great in all versions. When you look up at a texture up close, on all versions, it looks like it's made of mashed potatoes -- don't even get me started on the outrageous texture pop-in issue.

Or you're blind. Or you're too busy emptying clip after clip into enemies. Or you're too busy trying to figure out if there's even a solid story in the game. Or you're too busy trying to figure out how to drive with the broken driving mechanics. Or you don't even have the game.

I really think it is time for there to be a nex gen console especially if they want to really impress with id tech 5 on doom 4. Is there any word on that game or is it until tomorrow they will start revealing and before you know it it will be 2018 release date lol just kidding guys go id.

driving is fine..dont care about the story..love the gun play plus wingsticks pretty much insta kill and the turrets are killers..your the one that sounds like he hasnt even played the game and your only here to bash it..

Definitely one of the better looking games I've played on the 360, right up there with Crysis 2, and I expect, BF3. Love it personally, well worth the money I payed.

Best looking 360 game by far... its like watching a 3-d movie without the glasses...

You're right. The textures are incredibly blurry and smudgy up close -- it's like watching a 3D movie without the required glasses.
