Xbox Controller on Windows ver run in OSX

OK so some quick background before my question.

I was going to get an xbox just to play skyrim, but I found that I could purchase the windows version and run it in a windows emulator on my Mac under OSX. This works perfectly and I haven't had any issues. The only thing was that I wanted the full experience of using a controller as opposed to my keyboard and a mouse.

So I did some research and found that I could get an Xbox controller and run it by installing the controller driver and a keyboard mapper called Gamepad Companion.

After all is said and done, I can't map the the LT and RT buttons to mirror xbox as the left and right hand because the driver only allows those buttons to be used as axis buttons (aiming, turning, lookup up and down etc). Fine so I can remap those to other buttons no big deal.

The bigger issue is, when I look up what the xbox controls are online, it says that the left stick is used for moving. But again because of the driver, I can't map the sticks to specific keys (fwd, bkwd, left, right) because those can only be mapped as axis controls as well. This proves to be more of a nuisance as I then have to map movement to the up, down, left, right pad, and that pretty much takes away all the fun.

Also, im trying to mirror the "mouse" tracking speed that you'd have on xbox.

My two questions then are:

- can someone help me figure a way to make the left stick function as the movement control?
- can someone tell me what to set the right sticks tracking to for xbox "mouse" movement?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
