I'd assume extremely soon, especially since Gstaff is talking about it, although only a little glimpse.

The "Big April Announcement" was the Xbox Kinect thing.

We're still several months away from DLC.

Game has been out for only 5 months. Slow down people.

Can you prove the big announcment was Kinect?

You don't KNOW how far away DLC is. None of us do.

Kinect wasn't the only surprise, hence Bethesda tweeting someone asking if it was the only surprise saying "Tune in for more."

You really consider horse armour or any of those other tiny plug-ins "major dlc"?

Shivering Isles was the only DLC that I would ever consider "major" (KotN was close but still far too small) in Oblivion, and that was released a full year after Oblivion's release.

Well...they said there was a big announcement coming in April...and they made a big deal about Kinect when they announced it in April...so....you tell me.
Bethesda has been quiet since then. So yeh....I'd say we have our Big April Announcment.

And I don't KNOW when the DLC is coming....but I'll bet it's NOT coming in April.

The linked article posted by the OP mentions DLC on the PC not until late May at the earliest. DLC is Xbox exclusive for a month....and we KNOW that DLX to the Xbox isn't coming in the next 8 days....and neither is another Big Announcement.

most of the oblivion DLC was just different forms of housing with small quests, the only actual DLC was KotN and S.I. and those took a while :)

it would be better to look at the Fallout 3 DLC timeline, as that is probobly a better comparison for size.

The Bethesda Team is comprised of more developers than it was in Oblivion, and Skyrim has a much larger audience. I think Oblivion only had about 60 developers, Skyrim has about 100.
