Got the game...but the setting for hardcoe appears disabled. Does this come when I actually play in game? Why make it a setting outside of game then?

After you finish creating your character, you'll get the prompt to choose hardcoe mode.

Why is everyone so antsy? Play the game and things will usually reveal themselves.
