The last time I was excited was when I woke up to sweets in my xmas sock and huge ass presents awaiting me under the tree.

Be good kids.

Hm, don't think I will be getting anything. SWTOR is a gift for myself. Oh and a nice big housecoat!

Getting in all the Christmas overtime I can to pay for prezzies. :D Tbh, I'm normally a lot more organised and I'm feeling a bit panicky seeing as I haven't finished my shopping yet.
Also need to bribe a friend with tea and biscuits into going into the attic to get my decorations for me - I won't go up there.

It is been a really bad year for my family and my extended family, so Christmas this year might not be that great. Plus my money is tight. The only gifts I am buying for is for my niece and nephew. Its his first christmas, if it wan't for them, I doubt we would be doing anything this year.

I am looking forward to going out to the christmas tree farm and getting a tree. Being doing that every year for as long as I can remember.

I'm having a bit of a crisis this year. I've barely started my shopping. In fact I've bought and wrapped up precisely one gift. I just have no idea what to get anybody, it's crept up on me this year. I normally have it all planned.

I'm going ice skating a few days before xmas with my sort-of boyfriend and the skating place is an hour away from home, so I'm more concerned about that to be honest. If it snows heavily we won't be able to go, since the road to get there is terrible, and that will be made worse in icy conditions. I'm praying the snow holds off until after the 19th December!

I am going to visit my big family(7 siblings, I am the oldest), and I am just going to buy one present for all of them. And one for my parents. It's going to be expensive anyways. And I do not really celebrate christmas, but have to spend the christmas with my family, do not want to dissapoint them. I actually loathe christmas.

I'll spend part of the day at church, maybe head on over to the Jazz club with my GF, and kick back the rest of the day. My family is all far away, so they can't come visit.

I haven't gotten excited about the holidays since I was a teenager. I like them even less so now that I'm alot older, and especially since I lost my father two weeks before Christmas...well that took what little joy there was left out of the holidays for me. All it is to me now is just a couple days off from work, nothing special.

Not to much family or friends around. Half my shopping done, but there's never much to get. We already have our lights and tree up this year, most unusual. It often gets put up later in the middle of the month. It feels more festive this year for sure though, no idea why.

Its his first christmas, if it weren't for them, I doubt we would be doing anything this year.

Be sure to take lots of pictures/videos so he can look back on it when hes old enough.

Christmas lost it's edge when i was able to afford anything i'd usally ask for. So instead of giving up on it and just buying big ticket items for myself, I'd do it for my family.

Going back to school has destroyed me financially, though...especially because I plan to remain debt free throughout my education. So nobodies getting presents, and i've actually asked for things that I need (like shoes for the winter)rather than want.
