Place the items on the mannequin, then without exiting the menu, take them back off.
Leave the room and every time you reenter there'll be a new set.

Seriously? All this time I did it the hard way of mining my own friggin' ebony ore, dealing with the Orcs who were always like "you dont belong here", buying and/or obtaining (Mehrunes Shrine) Daedra hearts, etc. I could have just used a glitch? Man. Oh well, at least my followers (Mjoll, J'Zargo, Lydia, Jordis) are all packing full sets of Daedric armor I made and enchanted by Dragonborn. :-)

FYI: if you put improved or enchanted stuff on the mannequin the stuff that 'spawns' will be normal, but that's a small price to pay. :P

so even if the mannequin not glitched it will lose the legendary status ?

edit: can this be used to make duplicate assassin and thieves guild armour ?

xcrimsonlegendx pretty much answered this, but to add: so far I've been able to duplicate everything I've come across including, but not limited to: Vittoria Vicci's wedding stuff, Ancient Nord Armor, Falmer Armor, Linwe's Armor, and much much more.

Did you give him the "...part ways." option or "Wait here." option?

If you gave him the "...part ways." option that should've dismissed him.

Damn. Can you find him, rejoin him and redismiss him? If that doesn't work you may have to kill him. :( Don't do that on my suggestion because someone who has more experience with followers may have a better suggestion.

This is actually really useful! I've had many items that I didn't like the enchantment on, but wanted that piece of armor.

I'm pretty careful about my enchantments and actually use only a few specific ones, but, yeah, that's a good use for it.

I primarily use it for rare or unique apparel.

My question is what mannequin has this glitch? The only mannequin I have seen in the game is in my home in Markarth....Vlindral hall.

I meant finding or buying an armor, but not liking what enchantment it already has on it.

Oh, yeah, I guess so. :P I Smith all my own stuff, but I know a lot of people don't.

I did use it on the Gloves of the Pugilist to get that Enchant without destroying the gloves though.

Mine works either way, but naked would probably be better. Let me put the instructions step-by-step.

1. Activate the Mannequin.
2. Scroll down to your inventory.
3. Give the armor to the Mannequin. Do not exit from the Trade.
4. Scroll up to the Mannequin's inventory.
5. Take the armor back.
6. Exit from the Trade.
7. Exit the House.
8. Renter the House.
9. Activate the Mannequin. The armor should still be on the Mannequin.
