Ok so i have completed the game helping the NCR to win and have reloaded an old save so i can side with Yes Man instead; at this point however i already destroyed the securitron base under the Fort (not wanting to help House and all that in the first place) so Yes Man has tasked me with destroying the dam since their will not be enough bots to secure the dam and keep New Vegas independant.

My question, if i had not destroyed the bots would Yes Man be tasking me something else or would one still have to destroy the dam for him?

He'd give you the option to activate the securitron army so they could secure the dam and keep new vegas independent, or shut the dam down as before so one would have an interest in it.

I don't know the answer to this question, but I do know that his reaction when you tell him that you destroyed the securitrons is priceless.

I LOL'd... but then again, I'm easily amused sometimes.
