But based on that masthead studios is the Main collaborator, Its kinda to be expected that the engine they are gonna use is either a tweaked version of or simply based on the Earthrise engine.
Judging by the description of the Earthrise game, this will basically be all my sweatiest and bloodiest Fallout dreams come true.

anyone have any information to the contrary? Please tell me before I buy this game just to get a pre-taste of how FOOL potentially would feel like.

sad part if this is true is that since they are going "free to play" (aka micro payments) it is to assume FOOL will do the same, which is gonna svck ass if it affects combat, gameplay or upgrades in any way.
Nothing kills the fun of a pvp game like a bunch of OverPowered Creditcardfueled gankers.

Unfortunately, from all the reviews I have read it seems Earthrise is a very mediocre and forgettable game, and supposedly the engine is nothing special.
Going free-to-play does not speak well of it either, it means the game did not pull enough subscribers.

Hopefully gamesas will tweak and improve the engine for Fallout. Irony.cc

There has been no indication from gamesas that FOOL would go free-to-play, what i know so im not worried. From the info i have I'll be expecting a monthly subscription game.
