If you are Bored

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 4:49 pm

I am not bored but I do get side tracked and sometime make up thing to do like:

1.) Smelting the innocent. I clear out a town and bring the dead bodies to the nearest smelting pot for giggles.
2.) Bucket town. I put buckets on everyone's head.
3.) Try to get in your house now NPC! I stack ingot in front of doors so some NPC can't go home.
4.) Marksmanship. I try to balance apples on NPC and then try to place a good shot. I almost never hit the apple.
5.) when ever I see a fox I make it my business to kill it.

Do you make up your own games/ quest/ missions?

HAHA!
I never did any of those things!
I did however make sure I'd have all possible "word of powers" until Master Arngeir grow tired of me and said "Ther's only silence"
Quite odd actually as there should be two more, I'll try finding them after my, err... break from the game.

I explored all the areas and was sure to ride to the places, lost a few good horses on the way tho'.
Darned agressive ones those horses in Skyrim...

My "dark side" put me up to a personal objective.
Seeing I was the listener of the Dark Brotherhood I gave myself a special contract of assasinating Nazeem.
Hearing him say "Do you get to the cloud disctrict often? What am I saying, of course you don't!" was too much for me.
Not only was I the Thane of Whiterun, I was also the saviour of Skyrim, he would know better than looking down on me, so he had to go.
The kill was tricky, but eventually he lay dead before my feet without anyone seeing.

I'm a well educated adventurer. I have a list to work by and it is my personal mission to own a copy of EVERY book available. The only rule is I am not allowed to steal them because that would be too easy. The only exceptions are the very rare books that I have to steal.

Once I'm bored of playing through a game's quests I come up with all sorts of stuff to do. My current plan is to roleplay a vampire character; I will probably attempt very few quests but will do a lot of feeding on people and trying to collect all the magical artifacts I can without getting myself killed. Once you become a high level illusionist and your illusion spells can effect undead then you can basically go anywhere and do anything...

I2.) Bucket town. I put buckets on everyone's head.

This. Some shop keeper called my character a "miserable wretch", so I put a bucket on his head and left.

I'm also partial to the "make everyone undress" quest. It's like a throwback to an old game called Arcanum, in which you could also pickpocket clothes from people. I'm not sure if skyrim lets you place armor and such in an npc's inventory (arcanum did), because that would be awesome. I'd make my own quest of equipping all the npc's with armor I smithed myself.

Dragons? Let them come!

Well the apple On the head sounds risky but I kill rabbits and foxes whenever I see them. I like to go hunting and stalk my prey.

Cheers

I feel rabbits are not common enough. When I do see one, damn are they hard to hit with an arrow!

My current character is a treasure hunting Imperial so his "quest" is to find all the treasure maps and then all the treasure. Should be fun.

I have a spy character whose real quest is to uncover as much political information as possible, and influence events as much as possible to keep Skyrim's borders strong and its leaders paranoid and xenophobic, in order to stop them from allying with her home province's enemies.
