What happens if you cast it on Alduin? Maybe it would even work if, on PC, you got the shout via console and used it early in the game - after escaping Helgen - when there probably isn't scripting to prevent it.

I rode Odahviing to the stables outside Whiterun and then went inside the city. Then I could see him flying around while walking through town! He flew off to the Throat of the World and it was beautiful.

Side Note: Does not work on Parthunax. I am sad.

Yeah I got to ride Odahviing; he's my favourite dragon so it was cool... then he glitched and landed and wouldn't budge or attack anything. o_O

I've heard its not possible to ride Durnehviir, any confirmation?

I think most named dragons other than Odahviing can't be mounted.

Im assuming you tried within the soul cairne? have you tried maxing shout regen ( so amulet of talos, shrine of talos and full dragon aspect) and tried summoning him then using bend will?

That's a point; I managed to summon Odahviing and then ride him... wonder if its the same for Durnehviir?

No, actually I summoned him and waited 2 hours before he spawned and then used it on him.

I didn't try Soul Cairn.

Also randomly was expecting that new blue dragon to become summonable or something but he ended up getting defeated in the fight with Miraak. Was kinda sad about that as he was a cute dragon and I like having dragon friends rather than having to defeat them all the time.

He did? Ah guess I wasn't paying attention to the dragons much in the battle. XD I'd like to know if there are random ones too; I thought this DLC was going to add new dragon types anyhow. o_O

EDIT: Oh wait, yeah now I remember him eating him. o_o
