If you felt that Bethesda was truly listening to the Communi

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 8:26 am

You do not want the community influencing a game in any major way.

Its most often the loudest voices that get heard and from every game I've participated in that took such an approach, we found out that the game developer had a better idea of what to do with its game than we did. (Go figure, right?)

Just go look at a few threads, this is what you would end up with :

Headshot kills
A prettier game instead of a deeper game
A massive map, with zones that don't fit into the icy mountaintop theme
Removal of dual wielding
Jetpacks
Spaceships

You get the point.

Only thing I want from Beth is content and continued support, and not listening to internet forums less we start playing TES-Modern Warfare.

Sincerely, why they can't afford to spend a few of those hundred millions of dollars on more than 3 voice actors. And maybe some more on good ones.

The same reason most companies don't. We expect high dividends. Blame us all for wanting to earn money.

Anything I'd ask they probably wouldn't be able to answer anyway like DLC stuff and if Jiggylegs will be making a reappearance. Though I remember when the Devs did speak to us and I don't blame them for not wanting to any more. :sadvaultboy:

Reinvent the Difficulty Settings-
Leave the standard Easy-Novice-Advanced ect you can change on the fly to adjust damage dealt and damage recieved but then also add some settings that get set at the begining of the game because they affect the entire game world

Example

Quest Essential NPC's killabled? Yes or No
Enemies Level Static or Scale? Static- Scale- Both
Darker Dungeons and Nights? Yes or No
ect

Why would this be a good idea? Because not even the gaming community can agree on what they want in the game. Killable NPC's is a good example. Many people complain about not being able to kill everyone in the game but if we could people would be complaining of broken quests because an NPC was killed by a mammoth at some point and the player never knew about it. But giving that option in difficulty settings satisfies both schools of thought.

Listening to the community = Streamlining 2.0

JUST SAY NO.

I would just ask them to release the Creation Kit on Christmas Day.

Do you count on modders to fix the bugs in your games, or do you really not see those bugs?

I would ask them: "Would you take an arrow in the knee........for us?"

Only if Bruno Mars works for them.
