You can enchant an iron dagger or a daedric dagger, you'll still get the same amount of EXP. You can enchant using a petty or grand gem and you'll still get the same amount of EXP. Just fill up an immense amount of petty/lesser/common gem and enchant cheap pieces of equipment and NPC them for profit, you'll get to 100 in no time if you're looking for very fast leveling.

Another way to gain EXP is by recharging weapons. A quick way to level by doing that is using Azura's Star and a weapon with soul trap. Keep trapping soul and recharging nonstop.

You can cheese by enchanting a ton of daggers. It's cheap tactics though. I just enchant everything I plan on selling, even pick axes

Ah, well that makes sense, this is my second Character, but on my first I didn't pay attention to how I got my Enchanting to 100 the fastest.

Spoiler
Get Azura's star, have Nelacar fix it, use it to trap souls with a soul trap enchanted weapon, then recharge the soul trap enchanted weapon's charge.
Click the spoiler button if you wish to know an easy way.

Saying "Azura's Star" isn't really considered a spoiler unless you're being really really really extreme with the term spoiler lol

You get the same experience using any type of weapon or armor. For example you can use a petty soul gem compared to a grand soul gem on an iron gauntlets and get the same experience same for items could be daedric gauntlets always the same. Fastest way to lvl up both smithing and enchanting make iron daggers go to merchants and buy empty petty soul gems kill alot of lesser creatures fill the gems enchant dagger. Then sell daggers buy more gems and repeat till your lvl 100

I just got to 100, and got incredibly rich, by getting amulets and rings through looting or crafting, then enchanting them with anything I had. As a mage, you should have Black/Azura's star and a myriad of soul gems anyway. I had a ton of smaller ones.

Find whichever enchantment nets the most money and spam them. Conjuration boosting did a lot iirc, same with destruction, but I can't remember which one I had that was the most profitable. Just mix and match and find the right combo.
