You're given the choice to pick one game universe to live in

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:52 am

So if you had to make the choice of any video game universe to live in, which one would you live the rest of your life in? For the sake of arguement, you'd gain the abilities a player character would get when they/you levelled up and so on.

For me personally, I'd be tied with either the Saints Row universe or Fallout universe, but ultimately, I'd probably pick the Fallout universe.

Err, yeah, the Fallout universe sounds... swell... Very nuclear-y... Good stuff

I choose Sim City universe.

Well there's this one visual novel...

:P

The advantage is I wouldn't die like I would if I went to the TES or Fallout universe.

TES Universe, without a doubt.

I had a nightmare about being in a fallout universe the other night, and it was deeply disturbing. If there ever was a nuclear apocalypse and I somehow survived, I would kill myself. I don't want to live in a world like that.

Sure, the TES universe would be just as dangerous to live in perhaps, but I'd feel better there than in a depressing wasteland.

Is TES that dangerous though? I mean, as long as you stay in the city everyone seems well fed and healthy while living in houses without doing a day of work. There seems to be absolutely no crime. So short of a rampaging PC who decides to wipe out a town, maybe TES wouldn't be so bad.

If you stay in the city, sure. But I wouldn't want to stay in the city, I'd want to roam around. Plus, how would I make the money to own a house and be well fed if I didn't go adventuring? The first place I'd go is Anvil.

That's what I wonder, but there was an alarming amount of unemployed people in Cyrodiil who had middle-high class homes.

Minecraft universr, build myself a giant house. If it had computers of course, and if not then Fallout Universe pre-War.

Edit: actually I'd like to live in the Space Age Spore universe, and become a great explorer :D

Sims. Everyone's rich, children never get hurt, there's no war or serious violence, no injury, et cetera. Gardening makes you immortal.

ES, or the PS universe.
That's not the PSU universe, mind you, because the devs broke that game.

But I'd definitely be a RAmar, running around with a Meteor Shot. :nerd:
EDIT: And a RED Handgun, and a good Dim Rifle.

I'm always surprised how much I like the Fallout universe considering it's all post nook-yoo-ler unpleasantness, brokenness and psychopaths, but it's still pretty cool. I'd still rather live in TES, though; preferable somewhere in the more woodlandy bits of Cyrodiil like Chorrol, preferably not with a portal to Mehrunes Dagon's playground in my garden. Other worlds I kind of like, such as the futurism of Mass Effect, but there's too much chance of being liquefied by scary aliens; Thedas, but there's the risk of being eaten by darkspawn of being lightly killed by a dictator; and The Witcher's world which is kind of nice except for the seemingly perpetual embuggerence of one sort or another. Er anyway, TES.

Saints Row universe is just the real world through the eyes of a guy who's high. :P

I'd want to go somewhere that's completely different from this world. So probably some fantasy universe, like TES or WoW. Ideally though, I'd want to be in some sort of anime world.

So I guess I'll settle for something like FF:VII universe or Kingdom Hearts universe.

I used to travel to other universes, then I took an arrow in the knee :P

Seriously it's hard to say there are lots of different ones I would like to try to live in. FO universe would be cool however I would become a bit of a psychopath disemboweling people, killing sprees, kleptomania, etc... . Don't care what grief I get I am a brony so maybe the universe Lauren Faust created for MLPFIM though it might get too sweet after a while. Thought about the universe for Full Metal Alchemist which would be cool using science+sorcery to make stuff. The Star Wars universe is also cool though I wouldn't be a jedi so what fun is that crap. :P

Seriously there's so many choices out there that I personally couldn't decided to be honest.

THIS!
I can't decide between Fallout and TES. Is it Fallout before the great war or after? If its after the great war then I'd much rather be in TES.

Then its a very tough choice between TES and pre-war Fallout. Though If you put a gun to my head and told me to choose I would say TES.
