Defeats the purpose of boosting pre-order sales. And nullifies any who showed faith in SD. Exclusive pre-orders are a publisher's way of showing appreciation for your faith.

no. we pre-order to get EXCLUSIVES, not an early DLC. If you want it so badly go on ebay a day after release and wait 2 weeks.

If you wanted the Psycho pack then you should of pre ordered it. I dont think people that didnt pre order should get any of the pre order packs. I do believe that they should release new outifts and stuff down the road as DLC.

It would be cool and if they make money off it, I say go for it. But I really don't care either way, the only pack I really want is spec ops so I pre-ordered form Steam.

Lol.

Exclusive preorders are a way for retailers to get you to buy from them, a right that they pay the publisher for. That we get "rewarded" is just a little bonus.

Why people think that putting money down in advance means they should get something extra that nobody else gets is beyond me. You're paying to make sure you have a copy on day one and maybe for something a little extra to have for a few days. If it was something in a "Collectors Edition" that costs more that's one thing, but even then if they charge others the same amount later you still got what you paid for.

I would love to see them released in the future because I'm not interested in buying 4 copies of the game or being gouged on e-bay to get a few extra customization options, but wouldn't mind having those options.

No one is really getting "foreal" over anything, it's probably the way you're reading it.

They really should come out as DLC. I could kind of see them remaining exclusive if there was a way to get them all, but when Pre-Order bonuses are divided like this it's just stupid to not sell it. Besides, exclusive content is bad anyway. Why not let everyone enjoy the whole game they buy?

I really think they should, I was quite torn between Spec Ops and Psycho. Release it all as PAID DLC, for those people getting butthurt.

I don't see why people say it makes preordering pointless there are games that have no preorder bonuses. The point of preordering is cause you like it and have faith in the game and you want to play it as soon as it comes out and the pack is just incentive and a free bonus for for your support. If people love the game so much that they want to buy the item you got for free it doesn't take away from you, you got it for free. I understand once if they where to release them as dlc it might be bundled together into one pack which i don't like the idea of cause that does take away that bonus you got for preordering because if you want the others your paying for yours again.

TL:DR I'm all for the packs coming out as dlc as long as they are each separate.

This. Frankly the idea that people are considering these packs "ultra exclusive one time offers" is incredibly short-sighted. I have never seen a game offer something in a pre-order that was not eventually released to everyone else for a fee. SD can make profit off people who want the other skins but arent going to buy other copies of the game. What's the alternative? Throwing away the code because the game's been released?

I agree with this and its sarcasm granted i like the psycho pack.... and the kid who started this topic didn't check Amazon or the forums till now i guess? Anyway its to late this polls not going any were its been said that there's no thoughts on any DLC right now. In time we will probably get some DLC for multiplayer or more weapons and gear for our characters. But that's a long time off and we all have months and months of game to enjoy

AND THE RESSION Y I ASKED BECUZ THEY DONE WITH DEAD RISING AS WELL

Capcom (yes, I like their titles) will do anything for a $. Fortunately for us, they release quality to earn those $$$. In regards to DeadRising2 (I presume you meant 2), Capcom execs have had animosity toward this IP (along with LostPlanet) since its inception. So it's no surprise they would milk it for everything it's worth. I don't see that happening with Bethesda and Brink. Also, the games weren't well recieved (not inferring they aren't good). Another reason to seek increased revenue through DLC with existing content. Why create something new when you can just sell what was free (although exclusive) to begin with?.
