You walk up to your wife/husband/partner/girlfriend/boyfriend/person on the street and offer them 50 caps to go to bed with you....

You get tired and go to bed.

When you look in your yard and see a brown, shriveled plant and think "wasteland."

When you pass a large decorative rock on some landscaping and wonder if it's hollowed out.

Bingo on that one about replaying hours of the game because of a glitch...but it's better the second time around.

When you start up a conversation with some and the only thing you can think to say is, "I was playing Fallout when..."

When you're at work and head over to maintenance shop, see an adjustable wrench sitting on a tool box and say yourself "You know, I bet could find everything I need in this building to make a Weapon Repair Kit!"

Quickly followed by "I need sleep."

Happened yesterday.

When you spend three hours decorating your in-game room with stuff you found in the wasteland. "Hmm I think this plastic Dinosaur would look good on the radio, and this Nuka-Cola truck goes over here on the dresser... I'll just put this whet stone here and sit the straight razor on top of it (man why can't I get this thing turned the right way, it keeps falling off)... argh why won't these damn pool balls stack right!

Lol! I'm ashamed to say I've done this in FO3.

When you feel the need to tell people you don't know that you play too much Fallout on an internet forum.

When you use reputation system in real life

Example: Boy Scout Troop Fame Gained!
(Church of choice) Fame Gained!
(Sports team) Fame Gained!
(Opposing sports team) Infamy Gained!
(Bar of choice) Fame Gained!

Boy Scout Troop: Liked
Church: Accepted
Sports team: Idolized
Opposing sports team: Shunned
Bar buddies: Neutral

Just some examples. I find myself doing this so often.

Edit: pure examples. I'm not affiliated with anything I listed.

Bathroom breaks become inconvenient and getting up to get something to drink is so annoying. (A bit humorous considering the environment that we are playing in. :) ) All I can say is thank G_D for the cat otherwise I would never leave the chair.
