Does this QUEST-TARGET Briarheart spawn anywhere else besides Red Eagle Redoubt or Broken Tower Redoubt? I'm talking about this quest's Briarheart, which the quest specifically points you to. If you've done this quest, and the quest pointed you somewhere else besides those two locations, please tell me. I haven't started this quest yet. And it will be a big while before I can advance that far into the main story. I've killed the Forsworn Briarheart from the first location and looted the Briarheart from his body. This means that even if I hadn't looted it, his body will disappear anyway before I can pick up the Briarheart when the game points me there as a quest target. (In my first playthrough, the game pointed me here, so it might again in this playthrough.) The second location is glitched. So I need to know if I can find it somewhere else, so I can make it spawn correctly.

Yeah, but I just want to be safe. I hate using console command, and I shouldn't have to, and I'll try to avoid it unless necessary. There are so many people asking about this quest, here and on Steam forums. Did you do this quest by looting it from a Forsworn Briarheart somewhere else?

I used a briarheart I had in store somewhere in my house. Upon picking it up, the objective was marked as complete

Just don't have a heart in your inventory when you accept the repairing the phial quest and you'll be fine.

You can pickpocket his heart right out of him too if you don't want a fully blown Forsworn battle to ensue.

Very important note there. If you do, all briar-hearts are marked quest items but will not be recognized for quest purposes. That makes the quest un-finishable.
