Do you think I'll be able to run Rage at high settings? : Othor Games

I'm really looking forward to this game and I can only truly enjoy games when they are played at high settings. My current specs are:
Motherboard: Asus P5N-D
Chipset: nvidia nforce 750i SLI SPP
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 @ 3000 Mhz
RAM: 4096 MB DDR2
VideoCard: Nvidia Geforce GTX 295
SoundCard: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer

I am going to upgrade to 8 Gigs of RAM and I was thinking about upgrading to the Nvidia GTX 460 card. Will that help, or is my processor still not powerful enough?

With a GTX 295, I doubt you won't be able to run it perfectly. The generation above has bad reputation for the OpenGL performance, and the current generation is still too expensive for the mainstream market.

I was just concerned because I heard talk, that Rage might use OpenGL 3 or 4 and I looked at the specs for my card and it only supports OpenGL 2.1
