Do you think Elder Scrolls should have more (optional) ways

Or 'evolving' I guess you could say. I always wished there was some ancient evil/good artifact hidden somewhere in the game, where upon the proper actions taken, would bestow some unique abilities/looks to your character. I realize this is sounding very Fable-ish and that's not what I have in mind. It's very shallow in Fable. If there was say a Necronomicon type object in the game similar to Fallout/Dunwich Building that forever altered your character.

My thoughts on this are actually inspired by the character Tom Riddle from Harry Potter and his eventual transformation into a full dark lord. He was handsome at first and because of his dabbling with evil and treachery he was changed forever. Forgive the very scattered thoughts but it's just something I've been thinking about for a while, not sure how to present it the best though.

No, that kind of thing feels very contrived and gimmicky to me.

Do you think Elder Scrolls should have more (optional) ways of transforming your character be more customizable in every aspect? Yes!!! Do you think the series does good work improving in this? No. Quite the opposite.
