Bit of a loaded question, that. How could we ever not need (or rather want) more epic battles?

Having said that, yeah some more large scale battles would be great. Failing that, fighting more than one dragon would be siiiiiick.

I'm heavily into the combat aspect of Skyrim, so absolutely I'd love more; it's not as if anyone wouldn't though, is it. (Well, except maybe those who don't like anything that wasn't in Morrowind.....)

True but we might need powerful rigs to handle such battles :D

More stuff like the civil war storyline would be nice. Just having the opportunity to commit mass slaughter in an open environment is nice.

It happens, very rarely. Not as awesome as you might think. It gets very confusing because its usually the same type of dragon.

Tyrannicon's videos would make a console overload and explode into a deadly inferno. No way my PS3 could handle that.

that would make my Ps3 explode. I'll be buying a pc this summer but chances are it wouldn't even be powerfull enough to handle that.

I liked the civil war battles to be honest. Better than the Battle for Bruma so at least that's something.

I expect we will be getting more epic battles when we take the fight to the Thalmor, whether that be in DLC or the next game (hopefully the next game, as it will be on the next generation of consoles).

inorite? Aside from the Battle of Whiterun, I really liked all the Fort Conquests. They didn't have the baggage of need to seem "Bigger than they are". I only wish they lasted a bit longer.

They should have been able to carry on a la Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - for anyone who hasn't played, you have gang territories and you have to essentially invade enemy turf and defeat waves of rival gangsters until you've claimed the turf. From time to time your own territories will be invaded and you'll have to defend against a siege to retain it.

This would have been soooo damn awesome in Skyrim. It should end (maybe not 100%, but almost) once you finish the civil war quests, but you should be able to keep doing it until then. Perhaps once you've gained a certain amount you can go for Solitude, but it lets you keep on fighting and defending if you wish.

Now I'm salivating...

That's a wicked machinima you've got there. o__o The fort conquests are fun and I find it disappointing that the only battle that comes anywhere close to them is the one that concludes a certain Markath-centric questline. It's a great feeling to rush into a fight with 30+ backup - I get kind of lonely always hacking down the inhabitants of Skyrim on my own. (Or with incompetent followers.) I was a bit weirded out by the fact that every single Imperial soldier seems to don a giant mustache, though, I have to admit.

I would not like large scale battles, they would not really add anything and it would take a heck of a machine to run it. I just don't see how it would add to anything I mean people was running around like crazy in the civil war quest lines and they did not pose a threat and they disappeared from the ground. I did not like the chaos and it did not feel like a war at all. Elder Scrolls should keep to adventuring and letting us wander around getting grand quest and looting and let us be one man armies. There was nothing grand in the civil war quest line.
