Do you think the Brotherhood of Steel will be in New Vegas?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:44 am

They should, because the one of the paladins in fo3 talks about "our brothers back west".

I think they will have their classic armor with some enclave tech here and there

The Brotherhood has been confirmed for a long time.

They won't be a major faction though. I'm guessing their role will be as big as in Fallout 1, which is to say, small.

Also, they have been shown to be wearing the good ol' T-51b power armor.

It's been confirmed they are in New Vegas, but they aren't a major faction.

Have you ever played Fallout 1 or 2? They're set in the west and the BoS is in both of them. It was also confirmed long ago, that they will be in New Vegas, but not as a major faction. Not that I want them in the game in the least bit :banghead:

I suggest you buy the American version of the Fallout Trilogy on eBay. Don't buy the white label UK version it's censored.

Fallout 3 isn't the only Fallout Game you know

I voted "There own Mark II" as they were keen on acquiring Enclave tech, and would have been quick to convert and modify what they salvaged. They wanted the plans for virtibirds, if they found plans for Armor.......
(but it would have to have been salvaged from Navarro, and those plans may have only existed on the Oil rig's mainframe).

Yep, they will be in. They're not a major faction, so that drives me forward to hunt them down and demand for some PA xD

Eh, The brotherhood's origins lies in the US Military, Maxson was stationed in Mariposa, and the original group before they turned into the BoS.So in a sense, they DO KNOW how to use them. They wouldn't be so effective if they didn't know how to use them to begin with.

I meant that they know how to use them, but, it would be better offf in somebody else's hands.

They're not really better off in Enclave's hands either seeing as they get wiped out every time we encounter them.

they're going to be in it but I hope they're not the pansy ass good ones like in 3, they should be more like the greedy self serving ones that worship technology.

Yes they are confirmed to be in with a very small role. Why would they be wearing Enclave armor.

Like the NCR? No, the Brotherhood's purpose is to store technology and keep it away from the wrong hands. They see themselves as the ones who could handle and keep all that tech safe, therefore ensuring that Humanity/America's progress in technology is not lost forever or used in matters that it should not be used in. Imagine the NCR having armies of T51-b's, what could happen if Tandi wasn't their leader anymore?
