I have the game for Xbox 360, and am about 28 hours in and am having an absolute blast! No complaints here!

Anyways, I was thinking about it and I am kind of regretting not getting it for Steam as well on my PC. My PC can definitely handle this game, but I am just more comfortable playing relaxed in my chair with a controller in my hand. I was thinking about buying the game for PC now in addition to the one I currently have for 360, just so I can have mod support and be able to play it with a different feel if I wanted to. Money isn't really an issue, because if I have fun with it; $50 isn't really that big of a deal and it's very cheap entertainment when you look at how long it lasts. For example, going to the movies (by yourself) would cost $10 a piece, so that's 5 movies. Which is about 10 hours of entertainment. The game lasts longer than that and it's the same price as 5 movies.

I just want to have mod support and have fun screwing around with cheats after I beat the game and stuff; so do you think it's worth it to get it for PC if I already have it for 360?

Well modding is just getting started. There's some nice stuff out there but the really cool things will probably come later.

I think you'd be better off holding off that PC purchase until the new modding community has settled in a little bit more. By then you might also be able to get the game at a somewhat lower price.

By then the game should also have had a few more patches and will be more enjoyable.

Like I said; I'm not concerned about price.

I realize mods are just starting to be developed, but still the idea of being able to use the console and even have the little mods that are released now; are still appealing.

Why wouldn't you?

Pc = Superior multi plat games. Always. Except in a few cases like GTA4, and that was pretty patched up already.

I think a PC Version would be great! Trouble is World of Warcraft takes up 90% of my harddrive at the moment so F:NV wouldn't fit on my computer. But with the amounts of Modding and the such that can come from PC is unbelievable. To boot on the PC you have the G.E.C.K which allows you to create new areas in the game for you to explore. You can even create your "Own" DLC that you can share across webpages with other people.

Ok so the general consensus is that I should buy it for PC too even though I already own it for 360? Just for the addition of the console and modding/GECK?

Personally I think the PC version is the better version. I have copies of many games for Xbox + PC and I don't think it's unusual.

Maybe you should invest in an Xbox 360 wired controller or a wireless reciever so you can play your PC games with a controller. Then you can relax with controller in hand on the best possible platform. Personally I see the appeal of that too and I have a wireless mouse and keyboard and a controller which I have connected so I can play PC games on my sofa.

I say go for it. If I were you I would stop playing the Xbox version and start again on the PC version.

Well I am almost done with this playthrough on 360, so when I finish I'll buy it for PC because I have many other factions to side with in future playthroughs!

If only there was a save game transfer between 360 and PC....
