Though this character has feed on innocents before, im making the game harder now because i want this character to become more morally good. And the way to do this is that this character can now only force to feed on evil characters (like bandits, or those racist murdering forsworn).
This makes the game whole lot more challenging. Before i decided to take this path, it was quite easy to feed since all you had to do was go to a town/city in the night, and there are places where people of a city/town would sleep during the day.
Since i just can't feed on any random person in a city, that means there is more of a chance for my character to reach stage-4. So not only do i have to avoid people and try not to kill them when under attack by good people, i have to search for bandits or forsworn, or other evil, and sneak in one of their camps, avoiding detection (using the calm spell helps) and feed on one of their sleeping members.
Though its challenging, its quite fun. So i encourage those who try to play more moral characters, even if said character is a vampire, to try it this way.
Of course it seems that dawnguard would make it alot easier to role play as a "good" (or as close as a monster can get to good) vampire because you can now feed on the living (therefore making it easier to feed on bandits, etc) and also not get attacked at stage-4.
