Do you voluntarily stick to a schedule?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 4:13 pm

Not counting things that you have to do, like going to school or going to work, do you choose to follow a schedule to get things done? For example, do you have a timetable for sport, study, working out, etc., and manage to stick to it? Do you find it difficult or does it come naturally to you?

Personally I think I need one, but I seem to be too lazy to get it together.

Nope. I hate schedules. In the case of studying, I simply cannot do it unless I'm in the mood (and I could be in the mood at really odd hours). With working out, I have a general schedule, but only the day is fixed, not the time; though usually I do it in the evening.

I go to the gym every other day, other than that my only schedule is work.

I make a study schedule every day, then predict how little I'll follow it. In other words, I schedule my procrastination.

Today I need to start working by 6 p.m. I expect to start by around 8.

I say I'll start doing homework at a certain time but then I don't start doing it until an hour after that.

So basically what Frodo does.

For working out I had a loose one. At a younger age I'd go every day at 5pm. About a year ago I started running on treadmills and stuff, and my routine was to go two hours after waking up Mon.-Sat. That stopped a couple months back. As for anything besides exercise, nope.

Yeah, I maintain a loose schedule. I don't plan things to the minute, more the hour or general timeframe I'm going to do something. I like being organized, but with some flexibility. Like once I get home, I plan when I'm gonna work or when I'm gonna go running, all that stuff.

Nope, my life is a complete wreck when it comes to having a "schedule". No telling what I'll be doing at any given time, unless I'm at school.

I lied, I do play basketball every Wednesday night, so that's the only scheduled thing.
