I think at some point or another we've all really wished we've had super powers. I've always thought that having electrical superpowers like Cole McGrath in Infamous would be the greatest things ever. The question is, if you had superpowers, what superpower would it be, and what would you do with it? Use it for the common good or for your good?

Regardless of my power, I would immeadietly do everything I could to launch a bunch of nukes around the planet and set off the apocalypse. Assuming I survived, my superpower would put me in the perfect position to be KING OF THE WORLD!!! mwah ha ha...

I could break down substances at the atomic level and absorb/distribute said energies.

I'd like Nightcrawler's power, as long as it made the appropriate sound effect whenver I teleported. I'd save people, then probably die a heroic death by 'porting too far or too much. Hopefully, it would be accompanied by a bunch of blood and brain explosion.

Time control. Or failing that, just the ability to pause time.

I used to think that super strength would be awesome, but then I realized that without enough of a constant load my muscles would atrophy. I then thought about a power where I could alter the molecular structure of the objects around me to convert them between states, solid, liquid and gas. But given the laws of thermodynamics and the conservation of mass/energy I think that would end badly. In the end I decided that the best power for me would be super stamina. I wouldn't be able to run faster per se, but I'd be able to run at a full out sprint for several miles. I wouldn't be stronger, instead I'd be able to put out maximal effort for an extended amount of time. I've debated back and forth about what effects, if any, this would have on my sleep cycle. I'm pretty sure I'd have to eat a lot more as this would definatley imbalance my metabolic system.

Although I do have the power of super over anolysis.

What superpower do I want? Immortality, and possibly flight.

What superpower would I be most likely to have? Something like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde probably.

Either way I'd end up using it for my own benefit, and live in a castle and make riches, only fighting for the common good when I got bored enough.

Eh, superpowers are overrated. If you had one, you'd ideally want to keep it a secret, 'cause it's just a matter of time before the government or someone constantly corrals you into doing their dirty work. Or worse, vivisecting you to figure out what make you and your powers tick, isolate the genes responsible, and preserve all the tissue samples.

Not to mention most superpowers always require some secondary power to allow you to properly utilize them and function. Regeneration isn't so hot when it heals a broken limb that hasn't been set correctly. Invisibility's crap because you can't block light with your eyes (being as your eyelids are transparent). Flight...there's a whole lot that needs to be covered here to make this even remotely possible.


Remember, things aren't all that dandy for Cole. Being immersed in water is dangerous both to him and anyone around him. He has stick to sponge baths to clean himself. He can't ride in a car because his powers ignite with the fuel and blow it up. And if he's isolated from electric sources (such as being in a sector of a city suffering a blackout), he can suffer some slight dizziness.

Cole McGrath's powers. All of them. From both games. Although I'd have to teach myself parkour. And I would be evil, because why not? I have super powers.

As long as I retain my mental faculties to it's fullest extent, I'd go with shapeshifting for my own purposes.

Of course, I'd try to do some good with it if needed.

Flying! And all associated adaptations for low-oxygen environment, high wind velocity, cold temperatures, and sun exposure.

Or making my bathroom clean itself.

Hrmm....well for pure silliness, I'd want to power to give whatever I touched an orgism. The amount of mischief I could make would be awesome. However, I'd need gloves at all times...

The power to mutate freely, akin to the marauders in WAR, would be very sweet.

if i was a superhero, i'd want my power to be where i can just say something and it happens.

for example, there was a mosquito bothering me, flying about my room. i told it to die. it didn't. it's probably better that way that it didn't, but the point is, if i had a superpower, i'd be so when i look or point or touch something, it does what i say. that's be cool superpower. remember how Mask froze when the police yelled "Freeze!"? minus the green ugly green mask and the evil curse on it and all the bad effects of it and all of its bad history, and i think that's a fine enough start up example of what i'd want my power to be.

for good or for bad... i'd no doubt be tempted to make me some easy money with this power. doubt i'd actually follow through with that, i am black and white in my thinking and getting easy money would be cheating so no. i guess i'd be trying to use my power for good only. but then what is good? i mean, i'd be trying to save people from death and all that, but then there is the problem of messing with how the world runs and i'd not want to ruin anything... i guess no superpower for me.

If I had superpowers, I would do my best to help the people, but at the same time pay attention to my regular life. During the regular part of the day, I'd use it for my own use. Oh, and my power would either be super speed or Telekinesis. Telekinesis is cool because you could move things...with your mind!

Save the day

If I had a superpower it would be for myself of course. I would be able to go anywhere I want to bliviongate: (teleportation), speak with the dead :chaos: (necromancy), and be able to win any battle :toughninja: (martial arts master).

and i wouldnt be a hero no id be a villian and i would bring all the sand from the siarra to europe and crush europe

Flight and invisibility.

The ability to control any form of cloth or rope (Basically any textile).

Go ahead and laugh, but you'll be short of breath once your pants become ten sizes too small.

I'd want superhuman intelligence. Then I could reverse engineer how superpowers work and develop ways to implement them into technology. And people.

Time control would be awesome - just so many possibilities there.

For one less powerful, that'd be shape changingng, like stated earlier though, I'd want to retain my own intelligence, and additionally my own ability to absorb damage. I'd hate to turn into a fly to sneak into someplace only to have some guy with a fly swatter kill me, or get eaten by a bird.

And I'd use them for good ...... after I was living in luxury from stealing from people/organizations I didn't like

Limited immortality. Where I don't age, but can be killed.

I′d take the ability to freeze time only I′d be able to interact with frozen objects and I myself would not be frozen.

Then I′d live my life as some sort of a god going around changing things while freezing my own aging process.

But the real reason I′d take this power is so I could enjoy all the books and video games and other content people make for fun without running out of time As it is even if you read and played all day long you′d still not be able to read every single book out there and you′d still not be able to play all the video games. Also who wouldn′t like to get a years worth of exercise done in an instant
