(lets just say that you wouldnt be killed and whichever of the factions you picked would take control, because IRL most of us would probably get scared and stay in goodsprings )

I honestly would probably side with Mr.house, his visions of the future are just to grand to not want to accomplish. i just have to hope it gets accomplished.

If I were the Courier for real, I'd bygawd create a "Take over New Vegas for yourself, because you are The Faction" ending.

Either the NCR or the Brotherhood of Steel, not sure which. I do, however, own a NCR t-shirt that I got free with my copy of FNV, so that might be the decisive factor.

NCR. I'd reshape the army into a more fearsome fighting force, and lead them to victory over the Legion. I'd bring the Boomers, BoS and the others into the fold and create a new New California Republic.

I see Mr. House as the corporate elite. He has it all grand inside his walls while people on the outside are seriously struggling.

Caesar's Legion are just misogynist pigs who don't deserve a second thought or the air they breathe. My character seriously is against slavery of all kinds.

The NCR has serious leadership problems and is low on resources, but they have more than anyone else. The soldiers are mostly good people although some are lazy. It could be they are demoralized because of the leadership and being spread too thin. They don't think the leadership cares because they aren't getting their supplies and have too much area to protect...and many are tired of fighting and want to go home. I see it as a morale problem. I haven't finished the main quest yet though so this is probably a bit simplistic...or maybe it's that simple.

The independent way would be anarchy and people would not watch out for each other. It would be dog eat dog. People need a good example and good leadership and direction. Who decides that? Usually something good rises to the top and people take notice.

So I went with the NCR and hope for the best and my character has worked to help them and make things better.

I dont see independence as a good option. and no i dont see it being run as a communist dictatorship or something as good. but without a leader i see the wasteland as being even worse off then if Caesar was in control

Mr. House. I admire industrialist geniuses, and he's clearly a very pro-business type of person who's capable of making New Vegas prosper. I like the plans he lays out when you speak with him. I'd have zero problem with autocracy if I knew that someone like Mr. House would be in control. I love the concept of independent city states that are run as though they were businesses.

If I were the courier....IRL...I would've given him his damn chip, taken Cass and Boone, and gotten wasted at Gomorrah, and let House figure that [censored] out....

But I think about things in the long run and House is a dike, independence means me right? Well, me is not leader material.
And NCR while perfectly able to win the war will crumble sooner or later and all the civilized towns will once again be attacked by raiders and it's a lawless land again.
The Legion isn't pretty in what they do, I admit that, but for the wasteland to become something more than just a wasteland the best candidate out of the four is Legion for me.
In the big picture what "I" want doesn't matter, what matters is the future.
NCR has none.
House, yeah he's the saviour of the wastes.
And me?
I'm a lazy video-game playing smug bastard, what could I possibly accomplish by myself?
