You win. How do I turn off the compass?

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 8:45 pm

I know some people hide the compass with tape or stuff. I'm actually thinking about it. Maybe tape a sheet of paper on the top of the TV that covers the compass only and can be easily removed. Haven't tried it though. I still want to have the health bars.

I use iHud, have turned of all compass markers but kept my health and enemy health ones that is activated in battle

yep totally I do not know how people play hudless maybe If you wander it would be fine but if your doing quests it would be very frustrating

Actually if you listen to what they say when they are dishing out the quest, they usually say, "east of here lies a..." or "head north of town by the old mill"

If they literally say no direction, then I look at my map, but the compass is never needed.

They don't give directions nearly often enough for my taste and you have to listen carefully when they do because they often won't repeat it.

Agree 100% with your second point. Map check is all you need to complete quests.

I just started playing without the compass. What a big difference a little change makes.

I know, but I play on Xbox, and I was suggesting to another console user. There aren't many mods I really miss for not playing on PC, but this is one of them.

Good luck. Some quests don't even name your destination...

You can still consult the map.
