You won't hear me coming, I'm sneaking...naked.

Any rather "strange" things you do/tactics you use in the Skyrim? Mine is in the title. :disco:

Only wear my helmet in dungeons. Don't like the way it looks but like the protection it offers.

My character sometimes changes her entire set of clothes in the middle of shops. I imagine Belethor's eyes have popped out.

I also move the camera up and down or side to side to symbolise nodding/shaking her head.

To hell with sneaking. My Orc charges right into the enemy and bashes their heads with his hammer while cursing in the dragon language.

I developed this habit with new characters when the game first came out because the only hints at what effected chance of detection didn't specify one article of clothing per se, such as boots in Oblivion. Worn weight being the assumption I went with led me to just remove all worn items. Since you can just go into the inventory menu and pop on your armor if you get into a fight, sneaking naked became the norm habit.

I often only realize I never put anything back on when I get a comment from someone in town long after I return for errand running.

I thought I was the only one who did this?

No, I don't change clothes. I used to. I used to carry an "Adventuring" set and a "On-the-town or at home" set. But then I found I was carrying way too much so now I wear my armor all the time.

And sneaking isn't overpowered? On my thief I can one shot anything found in dungeons and never be seen.

Every playstyle (Mage, Archer, Thief, Warrior etc.) gets easy after level 25-30.

Id imagine seeing someone sneaking up on you naked would be a lot scarier to a bandit that just seeing someone sneaking up on you

My mage was never nearly as easy as my Thief. My thief not only has way more health and armor, even though he only wears light armor, but he does way more damage than my mage and the enemy never sees it coming. The thief class is by far the easiest in the game at later levels.

Your character would be a pretty poor assassin if you couldn't one-shot enemies and were seen.

I will stay in one place in sneak mode for 5 or 10 minutes IRL time just watching what enemies are doing in a cave or dungeon. After I have figured that out do I strike.

This would have worked in Oblivion, but I believe Skyrim uses the weight of all of your armour, and not just the boots, determine how much noise you make.

Well Im playing an ugly imperial who relys on unarmed gauntlet attacks with his right arm, and a very high block skill. He also wears an imperial officer helmet, and is naked otherwise...pretty good laugh actually

Even if it's a lesser challenge I prefere to play as a thief than as a magician. I died quite a lot in the beginning levels and I keep on killing companions or good npc's because of the blast radius.

Me and my brother do Extermination missions for Aela and squish the animal's body in the fireplace. I say squish due to the fireplace being half as big as Ice wolves and such lol. Unfortunately Sable Cats can't be moved :/
