Your Character's Ending

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:39 pm

So after conquering Alduin and saving the world, how does your character leave his mark on history?

My character, being a devout believer in the Nine Divines, eventually takes up arms in the Second Great War against the Thalmor. With his Thu'um, mastery of the Restoration arts, and his courage to guide him, Aradal the Lightbringer ends the war by killing the members of the Aldmeri High Council, and destroying their artificial Elder Scroll, which allowed manipulation beyond measure.

Afterwards, he departs without a word, and embarks on a crusade to rid the world of the Undead. The faith of Talos had been restored throughout Tamriel. It is now said that whenever you see light emanating from a ruin or cave, it is Aradal bringing the Nine's justice to the wicked.

Well there goes TES : VI's storyline.

I can't really do this because you just have to presume that TES : VI will have the canon ending being that Alduin was defeated, and the Dragonborn faded into obscurity...

i guess if i had to come up with anything...

prolly start a cult serving sheogorath in hopes to gain entry to the shivering isles and gain lordship there... although he would eventually go to war with servants of stendarr and eventually die,

that or he just lived a normal life doing nothing... like it is implied cuz the hero of kvatch didn't do anything after we stopped doing stuff for him.

My character will probably end up as a daedra slayer (he even wears daedric armor ), and someday he will dual with Dagon.
Bad thing is that the stendarr keeps mistaking him for daedra because of the armor.

And since he is a stormcloak, will try to persuade Ulfric to be more accepting to other races...and then defeat the aldmeri dominion.

She got married and settled into a comfortable domestic routine of sleeping in the day and being a tourist at night. She would have gotten fat too, except she was vampirized back in the days of fighting for her life. Luckily she is an elf of simple pleasures and pottering around decade after decade is enough to keep her happy.

Well...

(these are only characters I won't- actually can't play anymore so I consider them "ended")

Tasha technically robbed the Nightingales blind by claiming *something* for herself. She's now busy becoming the greatest cat burglar (so punny) Skyrim's ever seen.

Ivory became a hunter, settled in Darkwater. She and Derkeethus sell their game on the market in Riften.

Annette, after the destruction of *something* she valued dearly, found a new love, sailing. She now sails the Sea of Ghosts with a school of Slaughterfish thralls.

Raina quit her research of the Dwemer, and found a new and inspiring occupation, which is... hunting down Talos worshippers.
Nah, she works as an enchanter.

Like Sheogorth's servant in Solitude tells the Dragonborn while trying to recruit asistance, "But... you help people! It's what you do," I help people, it's what I do. I thought long and hard about that, and he's absolutely right, my position in Skyrim is to help people. So, after defeating all the big nasties, I'll content myself with a quiet life of offering aid wherever and whenever I can, be it for a Jarl or a beggar. Let's face it, the Dovahkiin has incredible ability, skills and talent, beyond mortal comprehension. You don't need to flaunt it, just go with it.

Besides, if everything you have done by then isn't enough to earn you a place in history, there's nothing you will ever do that will cinch it.

Arnór the Merciless traced his lineage all the way back to the Nedes and has set sail for the outpost of Jylkurfyk, Atmora, along with his wife, Aela the Huntress.

Haajil has returned to Morrowind excavating Dwemer ruins in hopes of finding out how the Dwemer disappeared and where they went.

Dave (Khajiit) has retired from his assassin and theif days, and now he has started a moonsugar farm in the hold of Falkreath.

Thorom most likely continue to adventure all over Tamriel, lending aid to those who asks him(and have no evil intentions) until he becomes older. When that happens he will change his identity and train others to fight with his own fighting style, the style of the Crusader. Someday after training one he deem strong enough to take up after himself he will simply disappear, never to be heard from again.

My character shall be in a dramatic fight with some bandits, when an arrow tragically soars into his knee and he lives out the rest of his life as a Whiterun guard.

My character writes many, many books on her time as an adventurer, lives to the ripe old age of 115, making her the oldest person in recorded history. She has just one regret, she never learned to play the lute.

The old Klawed Flaw(yeah, I have a tiny imagination when it comes to names... Be glad I don't want children) just stayed in Skyrim and tried his best to help convince the Nords that his people, the Khajiit, were more than just skooma smugglers and thieves. His argument was kind of destroyed when he remembered he is a thief, so he just lived his life out in the wilds and now helps any Khajiit caravans get past giants alive if they need help. They often provide some moon suger and food for him in return. He's like his father, a giant hypocrite. Except he figured that out and simply goes on to worship Sherogorath without anyone asking why he forgot his pants.

My character continues to strengthen her Thu'um and later embarks on a journey to become the Emperor of all Tamriel. The Thalmor, the Imperials, everyone bowed to the righteousness of her Thu'um.

Finally, after living a full life as a mortal, she will eventually return to her true form as Alduin and fulfill her purpose as the World Eater, and redeem herself in Father Akatosh's eyes.

My characters have their first male child, whom they raise and take care of peacefully. Until the Silver Hand or the Vigilants of Stendarr discover about them. So my character dies at the hands of those evil hypocrites. The son, already a young adolescent boy, is left to fend off for himself.

Pretty much a larger story to it, but it's mostly about Hircine, werewolves, and Vigilants and Silver Hand. Nothing too epic, though I felt my characters run their course. They left their mark in the world by participating in the Bloodmoon of the Third Era, hunting in Hircine's Realm while still alive, and returning to Nirn and seeking a normal life. Then they died and went to Hircine's Realm for eternity while their son forges his own destiny in Nirn.

My first char (pure Vanilla) had a happy ending, resting in the hotsprings and telling his stories to the hunters there :D

I don't plan to end my second character by now. After he finishes his deeds in Skyrim, he plans to take the Moon Path to go to some zones of Elsweyr, in order to further fight the Thalmor. And then...we'll see :)

I as the High Elf, brings back vision and sanity to the Falmers, and expand the alliance of Aldemeri Dominion, as the snow elves bow in their servitude and loyalty to the all mighty Altmer.

Settle down in Whiterun. Help my wife Ysolda set up the shop she always wanted. Eventually she'd pop out an 8 year old kid that looks like all the others. I might even play tag with him or her. I'll think it odd that he or she looks like all the other kids and will wonder if the Milk man really does deliver just fresh milk to all the homes every day.

When not playing with the kid or wondering about the Milk man I'll hang out in Jorrvaskr getting drunk and lazy, then go home every night for my Lovers Comfort perk, so I can do it all again the next day.

My argonian warrior hoards gold ingots and jewels, so he would have put it all in a pile in some deep ruin. Then Frodos legendary treasure would be the life-goal of many adventurers to find. After that he would probably sail off to Akavir.

I'd like to see my character move to a farm near Whiterun and just settle down with Sylgja. He's had enough excitement for 3 lifetimes.
