My High Elf Necromancer is named Eltha?n. I thought it sound Elfish, which pretty much is the reason behind the name.

In RPG and other avatar game naming I used for second names, names such as Trent, Ripley (no prizes guessing where that one came from) Appleby, my favourite first names various spelling of Jonathan, Franklin, Kate and Lucy. Single named Avatars tend to use Agricola these days and this is name currently using in SkyRim. Good Roman name but most people just associate it with "farmer" these days. Name still used in Scandinavian countries as well, so ties in well with being a Nord.

I called mine 'Urquhart' It's my second name. It's Scottish so I thought it would fit the northern scene of Skyrim. It's pronounced like 'urkut'.

He is called "Heini" because I dont know what to make with my first character. He should be a test and is now 250 hours old. He looks like a Heini ( twerp) and he is a 2H warrior.

Daedra worshiper, Werewolf, Leader of the Companions, murderer (4 to date), and soon to be a member of the Dark Brotherhood. His hunger for death is one that wasn't fulfilled with the Companions, so it's off to the DB for some fulfillment.

Nighteye the Argonian. Even when I play Fallout I name my character Nighteye.

I try not to blatantly reuse names, as although I don't RP too much, I try to give them an identity of sorts.

If i cant think of a character, i pick Darkeye, I think of it as the spirit name of all my characters. My Bosmer (main character) is called Llygaid Tywyll, which means Dark eye in Welsh, my native language. My most recent character is a Breton which i randomly named Ruit (pronounced "Roo") Ddraig. Ruit was just a random word, yet Ddraig means Dragon in welsh. Yet Ruit is just his mortal name, his spirits name is Darkeye..
Also, i named my female Breton "Bronwyn" because it means "dark/pure" in old Welsh... nd also cus its da name of a gurl dat i kinda liek a bit.... hheheheehe *runs away*

My female redguard is called Scargia Eil Bey. It means Carving Blade(Scargia), Of The(Eil) Moon(Bey).

I have the habit of torturing my characters by giving them extremely [censored] names. My current character happens to be "The Plebeian". My favorite Morrowind character was "Noodles Aplenty". My favorite Oblivion character was "Linus Darkhold".

You can actually break down the name to see how I got it, but it's not that obvious: I was going for the word "Avian"', bird. Kind of supposed to represent the opposite of flying freely. Tied down to Earth and a wandering, past stricken person. The "RUS" at the end is because in Latin, it's what I find to be the most tongue sensitive masculine suffix.

Dropped the "N" because Avianrus doesn't sound right or look right.

Or Riden from Oblivion, which is a mathematical name. A=1, B=2: Riden = a total of 50. But I did the name first and just shortened it from "Ridden", which is a name that Linkthe1st used. Chose the first name which equaled out to 50, which was this.
