Your dream car

What is your dream car?

I've been arguing all day with my friend about this and I've come to a conclusion:

Personally I dont like any of the mustangs after 1969, the 69 mach 1 was even pushing my tastes.

My dream car is a 1967 fastback Mustang with a 427cid engine and a 4 speed Hurst short throw shifter and pistol grip. http://firstin.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/0033345-r1-e0021.jpg

The super Bird
http://www.allpar.com/model/superbird.html

I'm looking for one on the market to build or buy new.

I have an uncle who builds classic cars so i have the ability to get them all for a good price. Danchuk 1957 Bel Air Is what I want.

Personally, all the muscle cars around the 60s 50s are a personal favorite.

I'm not a big car fan. Give me something with good gas mileage that won't break down in a couple years.

I normally don't even like muscle cars, I've always been more into the light and fast japanese cars. My friend recently bought a Mitsubishi Evo and I literally drooled on it the first time I saw it :P

I was looking at the Lancers a few months ago and I fell in love with them. I like everything from exotics to classics pretty much. Of course that's the one car I want more than any of them. Mostly because it's not to far out of my reach as far as price goes. My friends cousin has a '69 mach 1 for sale for $3000 obo right now, but I'm waiting to get the mustang as more of a second car since I would barely get 5mpg with a 427 :P

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQhVGYF6-ho is exactly what I want. Down to every last detail almost.

I think one of those 50' long Bentleys that does no more than a hundred yards to the gallon, complete with its own chauffeur and Indian restaurant.

More realistically, we're looking for a new Ford Mondeo but can't agree about the colour.

I think the Evo has been forever tainted for us because we used to have a "problem neighbour" who owned one: now they just make me think of some steroid-abusing tailgater whose favourite pastime was sitting in front of his house revving the engine while the mouth of his gormless face dribbled onto his wife-beater.

An indestructible cube with wheels on each side and some sort of gyroscope cockpit. No car crash anxiety for me, thanks.

I hope to get at least one of those cars before I die .

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b195/DEFRON/AX%202010/awesomecar.jpg :hehe: (Well, probably not that one, but I would love to own an Itasha some day)

Beyond that, the Tesla (I hate filling up, and the charge is definitely more than enough for my daily use and just charge at night) -- Maybe the Nissan Leaf because... well pun on Nissan :hehe:

Kind of surprising Mitsubishi Lancers even came up in this conversation - they're so obscure compared to Civics and such. I got my new Lancer Sportback in May and I'm really happy with it. It wasn't even on my car shopping list until I stumbled across it while researching other cars. Had a big rebate so I got a really good deal on it compared to the Mazda 3 I was looking at.

This is always a hard decision.

It was the Nissan GT-R for a while, and still sort of it.
But the Mercedes SL600 AMG Black has a lot going for it and so does the SLR Mclaren Roadster.

http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/11/30/brabus-tunes-the-mercedes-slr-mclaren-roadster/ That's kind of how I would want it.

Of course I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford that haha.

I like pretty much any sports car almost though so, maybe I will settle for a used Porsche one day, can get those for under $20,000. Wouldn't be my main car of course..I'd run into way too many problems if I ran it all the time!
